Chillbo Baggins 2.0 – Most Versatile Product

Are you searching for a Lamzac inflatable hammock, but maybe want something just a little bit better?

The Chillbo Baggins 2.0 inflatable hammock lounger is a versatile product that will keep you in comfort, no matter where you are. It also makes an excellent gift for a travel lover or even a self-gift!

Right away, you’ll notice that the lounger comes in a variety of outlandish color combinations: 90’s Fresh Prints Black or White, Blue Leaf, Camo Green, Hella Yella, Orange, Pink, Rainbow Swirl, Turquoise/Orange, and Urban Camo.

The inflatable air hammock requires no external pump, making it super convenient and easy to travel with, as you don’t need to worry about bringing a pump along.

You can take it places where you’d normally use a folding chair, regular hammock, picnic blanket, or inner tube. We guarantee this one to be much more comfortable! Even if you’re in a windy environment, you have a couple of anchor loops to hold it down.

We used it in the pool of course, which was super comfortable as it suspends your lower body in the water, so you get cool, but your hair and most of your body stay dry. However, using it at a music festival or camping would also be fun!

Since it packs and stores so easily, you could easily pack it in your RV or car, and use it while you’re away. Use it while floating the river, at the beach, or on land. It transfers to just about any landscape with ease. It supports up to 400 pounds, so it will accommodate most users!

How does it inflate?

With your breath! However, it won’t leave you all blue-faced trying to inflate it! Simply fold it out, and gently breathe some air into it. The set-up is so simple and straightforward, that even kids can do it.

The one thing we’d like to mention and remind you of is that if you’re searching for a replacement for a blow-up mattress or something similar, this is not an adequate one. It’s designed to stay inflated just for around 5 hours, so plan accordingly.

We also list of the best hammock chair for you. Read it right here!

What We Liked

  • Made of durable, high-quality materials
  • Inflates and deflates easily
  • Available in wide variety of color combinations
  • Can be used on land or on water
  • Supports up to 400 pounds of weight

What We Didn’t Like

  • Only stays inflated for around 5 hours

Kelyus Lounger – Editor’s Pick

Up next, we have another amazing pool lounger for adults: the Kelyus Chaise Lounger from SwimWays. This lounger made our favorite out of all of the best loungers for a variety of reasons. It is versatile, comfortable, has an extraordinary design, and has the most characteristics out of all of them.

First of all, it has a convenient tether clip to let you keep it connected to the dock, boat, or even other floats from the company. This makes it great for using out on a lake or spending a day floating the river with friends! You presumably know if you’ve floated a river before, that it’s quite troublesome keeping everyone together, but Kelsyus has solved that problem.

One of the fundamentals of any day in the sun is a pool, and the other is ice-cold drinks!

You probably don’t want to be holding your drink the entire time, so they’ve gone ahead and added on a built-in cup holder to keep your drink within reaching distance anytime you’re feeling a bit parched. It is made of the same mesh as the seat is to accommodate condensation.

How much weight does it support?

250 pounds; which, definitely isn’t as much as some others, but is also more than many other options, too. As this lounger features a lot of mesh, it obviously won’t be able to hold as many people or as much weight as some pool floats made of just vinyl or PVC.

However, it does feature durable, fabric-covered material that will easily suspend you just above the surface. The innerspring around the outside edges make sure that you have more stability, making it difficult to tip over.

You can lay back comfortably with the integrated headrest, backrest, and footrest. Between the seat portion and the footrest is a cutout where you can either rest your calves in the water while your feet are on the footrest or decide to put your feet and lower legs completely submerged.

The main thing we didn’t fancy?

It isn’t recommended for use around children three years of age or younger, due to choking hazards.

What We Liked

  • Made of durable, fabric-covered material
  • Features integrated headrest, backrest, and footrest
  • Has a clip to keep you tethered to dock, other floats, and more
  • Comfortable mesh seat suspends lower body

What We Didn’t Like

  • Not appropriate for use around children 3 or younger

GoFloats Unicorn Party – Best Instagram Worthy Product

Let’s talk about unicorns.

We know what you’re thinking. “Umm… Isn’t this about the best pool floats?”

Well, yes. But, this is also about unicorns, and who doesn’t like them. We’re pretty sure the answer is, “nobody”, because everyone likes unicorns, even if they don’t want to admit it. So, when someone sees a unicorn pool float in a pool, there’s no way they can resist hopping on and snapping a few photos for the ‘gram.

This large-sized inflatable pool float is made by GoFloats, who we can easily say has become royalty in the pool float business in recent years. They have come out with much more than just mystical animal floats, which we’ll get to later in this article.

The GoFloats Unicorn Party inflatable is a great size, coming in at 45 inches in width, and is 3 feet in height.

The float may look trendy, but it’s made with safety in mind.

Made of thick, UV-treated, raft-grade vinyl, you can use it in just about any environment: the pool, beach, river, and even on land if you so choose! It is durable and will last you many days of splashing around and posing with friends.

It also takes just moments to inflate, so you don’t have to wait around to get the party started. Their new rapid valve allows for 10x faster inflation compared to your traditional valves (which clocks in at around 2 minutes compared to 20). Deflation is equally as fast, making it easy to pack along and take on any adventure you have in mind.

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with this pool lounger for adults (which we doubt you will be), it comes with a satisfaction-guaranteed warranty, so you aren’t really losing out on anything by trying it!

What didn’t we enjoy?

We enjoyed everything, however, if we’re going to compare it to say, the Kelsyus lounger, it’s less stable, so you should keep that in mind!

What We Liked

  • Adorable, modern unicorn design
  • Made of durable, raft-grade, UV-treated vinyl
  • Rapidly inflates and deflates

What We Didn’t Like

  • Is less stable than some other floats

BigMouth Donut Float – Most Publicized Product

Are you by chance feeling hungry? Craving a donut but can’t have one?

That’s okay, we’ve got one of the next best things: the BigMouth Donut Pool Float!

The Donut Float is one of the best pool floats of 2021, and you can probably see why! This trendy, durable pool float is about to make an appearance in all of your friends’ photos!

The brand alone makes some head-turning floats for adults and children alike; bringing even more fun and whimsies to a pool day. Not only is it a donut design, but it’s a donut design with a bite out of it (which is much more realistic, no?)! The float has made appearances on huge shows and publications such as: The View, People Magazine, The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, ESPN, and much more!

The float is over 4 feet wide and 2 feet thick, which allows you and another person to fit in it. It can seat two children comfortably, and one adult.

Despite its trendiness, it’s actually very well-made for what it is. It’s comprised of durable, multi-color vinyl, so you can use it in the pool or in the ocean without worrying about holes coming about. However, a patch kit is included, should anything happen! It also protects against fading, because who wants a pale-looking donut?

Not a strawberry fan?

No problem! Chocolate is better, we agree, but pink looks so much better in the pool. That being said, chocolate and strawberry are the two available options currently, so why not get both?

You’re probably wondering about inflation.

The cool thing is, with your investment you also receive a complimentary pump to quickly and effortlessly inflate your floats for the pool!

You may be wondering if there was anything we didn’t like.

The only thing we didn’t find attractive was the price. While in comparison with many pool lounges and more complex designs, this one is cheaper, but compared to your average inner tube design, it’s about twice as expensive, if not a bit more than that.

What We Liked

  • Super-trendy donut design available in chocolate or strawberry
  • Made of durable vinyl complete with patch kit
  • Complimentary pump included

What We Didn’t Like

  • More expensive than comparable products

Jasonwell Pineapple Float – Best Product for Laying Down

Feeling some strong Spongebob vibes this summer? No worries, Jasonwell has got you covered with their pineapple float!

With so many different kinds of pool floats and lounges available, why not choose this fruity beauty?

This thick, soft inflatable float is perfect for truly relaxing on. How many times have you spent the day at the pool sitting in a lounge or tube float, only to find some really weird tan lines afterward?

If you want to tan, we can’t recommend this one enough. This float allows you to truly relax, with the ability to lay down completely, taking in the rays, and perhaps a cold beverage.

This float is an amazing, tropical design and is the biggest float we have on our list. It’s made of premium vinyl, which is raft-grade material. Did we mention there are no phthalates in the material?

You may be wondering how much it can hold.

The answer is more than 300 pounds. So, if you or you and a friend both want to hop on for a ride, you can definitely make it happen.

Inflation and deflation are both super quick and easy, with the rapid valves. They’re around 5x quicker than your average float. When you’re done using it and you want to pack up, it also comes with a convenient drawstring bag to carry it around!

It is a bit expensive for what it is, but that hasn’t stopped many people!

What We Liked

  • Fun pineapple design
  • Made of durable vinyl complete with a patch kit
  • Holds more than 300 lbs.
  • Long enough to fully lay down on
  • Comes with convenient drawstring bag

What We Didn’t Like

  • A bit pricey for what it is

Choosing The Right Pool Float

Now that you’ve had a look at the best pool floats on the market today, you may be wondering which one to get. What are your needs and likes? We’ve created this buying guide to help make the purchasing process seamless for you. Just scroll down, read through, and you’ll be all set!

Are you planning on laying down? Lounging somewhere in-between sitting and laying down? Sitting in a tube? Think about what would work best for you and whoever else is going to use the float.

What are you going to be doing? Are you going to be tanning? Maybe it’s best to get something where you’re laying down completely to avoid awkward tan lines. Will you be drinking? Get one where you’re either sitting or lounging to be able to drink comfortably.

What will you be using it for and where? Are you planning on taking it to the beach to float through some waves? Then you’ll want something that accommodates that.

An inner tube-style is probably going to fare better than a lounge will. Are you going to be taking it on the river? Make sure it’s made of thick material and will be able to hold you on the float without flipping over or letting you slip off.

If you’re just going for all-out comfort, a lounge with all the bells and whistles will probably be right up your alley. These typically are made purely to keep you feeling great, and often feature the mesh seats to suspend you comfortably. They also usually have integrated headrests, armrests, and even footrests! You’ll feel like a king or queen in them.

Perhaps you care less about comfort and more about how this thing is going to look next to you in the pool! If that’s the case, then we highly recommend any of the last three products on our list, depending on your personal preferences. They’re all quite whimsical and fun to ride on; probably even more fun to take photos with and upload them to your social media accounts! The ones we have listed are very well-made and are durable, so be careful you’re selecting the exact brand we have listed.

What is your price range for your new pool float? Think about this before purchasing as they vary astonishingly. You could get something that looks identical for half the price as another product but may find that it’s poorly made or made with cheap materials, and doesn’t last anywhere near as long as the more expensive one does. When in doubt, always read up on the materials they’re made of.

It’s also a good idea to make sure the materials are fade-resistant, as you’re evidently going to be in the sun with your new toy!

You might want to look into the little extra features your new inflatable float will have with it. Are you someone who always has a beverage in their hand in the pool? Do yourself a favor and select something with a built-in cup holder! Preferably, it will be made of mesh to eliminate any condensation problems.

Also, think about how easy and fast it is to inflate and deflate the float. No one wants to be sitting by the pool blowing up their float for 20 minutes while everyone else is already having fun in the water!

It’s also always a nice addition to have a patch kit handy in case leaks occur, which they sometimes do.

We have to say that all of these inflatables gave us a great time! They’re all pretty different, but all have their selling points. However, there was one that really stood out to us, and that was the Kelyus Lounger.

It was definitely the most comfortable out of all of them, with the mesh suspension seat, integrated headrest, backrest, and footrest! It even had a beverage holder handy so you never have to ask someone to grab one for you!

It’s easily foldable, the material is super durable, and deflation and inflation are the quickest we found out of any. The price point also isn’t bad!

If we had to choose a second runner-up, we’d probably go with the pineapple float. The style is trendy, it’s long enough to really stretch out on, it’s durable, and it holds over 300 pounds.

So, which of the best pool floats here will be making its way to your summer parties? We also list the best inflatable hot tub, you might consider buying after you read our guide.
